THE FIRE FLY IS OUR SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT MODEL. It weighs only 1.5 ounces, so light you don’t even feel it.  Perfect for hikers and backpackers, and people who are carrying all of their gear.

The Fire Fly fire starter has five components:

1.  European Ferrocerium Rod / Flint (6 mm diameter by 2 inches long).
2.  Military Grade Magnesium Rod 95% pure ( 3/8 inch diameter by 2 inches long).
3. Hardened Steel Striker/Scraper (sharpened).
4. Hardwood handle.
5. 550 lb tensile strength 7 strand paracord.  18 inches long

THIS FIRE STARTER IS INTENTIONALLY VERY COMPACT AND FEATHERWEIGHT.
