Red Bear Exchange

The transaction can be handled in 2 ways:

1. Seller – Buyer
   • We help review the item and its condition
   • The item is posted on the Red Bear Exchange website, and occasionally on social media
   • We provide the contact information and you negotiate directly with the seller/buyer
   • The sale happens directly between the seller and the buyer
   • Red Bear gets a small admin fee
2. Seller – Red Bear – Buyer
   • We help review the item and its condition with a detailed look + photos
   • The item is posted on the Red Bear Exchange website, and occasionally on social media
   • The item is kept at the Red Bear shop, if it’s a RTT/camper/canopy it will be kept outside in a locked yard, available for demo to potential buyers
   • Seller sets an Asking Price and we handle the sale on your behalf
   • Red Bear gets a percentage of the final sale price, we collect the funds from the buyer and pay out the seller less our percentage; if credit card is used then a 3% merchant fee applies
   • 1st month storage is free, depending on bulk/size of item a storage fee may be charged to the seller for keeping after the 1st month

No matter which way you go, start by sending us an email with all the details about your gear and good photos. You will need to stop by the shop with the item itself so that we can review the item is legitimate and the condition it is in. As well, review and agree to the Red Bear Exchange Terms listed below, click here to read.

Red Bear Exchange Terms

You must read and agree to these terms and conditions for the items to be listed on the Red Bear Exchange:

Terms:

1. It is Red Bear Outdoors’ sole decision if the item will be published or not, and for how long
2. Red Bear Outdoors can cancel the agreement at any time, in that case the seller will have 14 days to remove the item from the Red Bear Outdoors storage, if not there will be a $20/day fee
3. Red Bear Outdoors does not provide any warranty on the items sold
4. Red Bear Outdoors is not liable for the product sold in any way
5. Red Bear Outdoors is not liable for the product storage, unless a storage insurance is purchased on the item

Legal:

1. Ownership: You are the legal owner of the items being sold and have the right to sell them.
2. Warranties: There are no warranties, express or implied, associated with the sale of the items.
3. Title Transfer: Specify when the title to the items being sold will transfer to the buyer.
4. Taxes: Specify whether any taxes are included in the sale price or if the buyer is responsible for paying taxes on the purchase.
5. Intellectual Property: Specify that any intellectual property associated with the items being sold, such as copyrights or trademarks, are owned by you or are being sold with the appropriate license.
6. Indemnification: Specify that the buyer will indemnify and hold you harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the items being sold.
7. Governing Law: The governing law in the province of Ontario will be used to interpret and enforce the terms and conditions of the sale.
8. Severability: If any provision of the terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
9. Entire Agreement: The terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the buyer and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
10. Signatures: The terms and conditions are binding upon both you and the buyer and that signatures may be required to signify acceptance of the terms and conditions.
